Rob Davis / President
Rob Davis, the owner and President of Forest Energy Corporation, founded the wood pellet manufacturer in 1991. Davis is also a founding partner in Future Forest, LLC, the prime contractor for the White Mountain Stewardship Project. Davis is extremely active in the biomass industry and with forest health efforts. He is the past President and current Director of the Pellet Fuels Institute and a founding board member of BTEC (the Biomass Thermal Energy Council) as well as a board member of the Federal Forest Resource Coalition and WMATCO. He also sits on the Arizona Governor’s Forest Health Advisory Council, the Steering Committee of the Colorado Bark Beetle Cooperative and the Four Forest Restoration Initiative collaborative.
Gary Moore / Director of Operations
Gary Moore boasts more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing. As Director of Operations for Forest Energy Corporation, Gary is responsible for all aspects of the business operation, including the management of manufacturing, as well as overseeing all employees, budgets, production costs and OSHA compliance. Gary began with Forest Energy in 2004 as a project manager. In 2005, Gary was promoted to an Assistant Plant Manager, working with the production manager to maximize production and reduce downtime. Within a year of being Assistant Plant Manager, Gary was again promoted, this time to Director of Operations. Prior to Forest Energy, Gary was an outside sales engineer and a draftsman for Capitol Engineering Company.
Passionate about the changing energy landscape and forest health in our state, Gary attended Phoenix College and completed computer aided drafting and design programs, receiving his Auto-cad Certificate. This native Arizonian is a member of the Show Low Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman of the Chamber Government Affairs Committee, Vice President of the Northern Arizona Wood Products Association and a member of the Arizona natural Resource Working Group.
